New MACA

editor of the daily Info: I welcome wholeheartedly the creation of new and newly renovated Museum of Modern Art and I say refurbished because the Museum of Contemporary Art in the streets of Alicante Villavieja existed long ago. I was one of the visitors who came to admire the art of our time for years and I remember some works that struck me, but not for his "modernism" and groundbreaking avant-garde, but his hyper. I was so impressed that these works in the stark reality is embodied with such force that I still have the memory in my mind. MACA was the ancient School of Business, our parents or grandparents there mostly studied accounting, that accounting primordial generation of the forties, but as a visual artist I prefer that this school has been transformed into a museum. I have not visited the new, but I will, inter alia, on the street because Villavieja was born and raised and go there is for me an added value to art: the longing of my childhood and my youth.
