The concentration of the March 24, far from being a rally of any political party, as pointed Hall municipal sources in the media was a brief meeting and union between those who think the housing situation is an important issue that is affecting our youth and we are convinced that we must act to change it, and how we act, our "social control" is in the street, making hearing, asserting our rights and demanding that the appropriate necessary measures to guarantee them.
At the rally we met around thirty people. We were not many people but the important thing is not quantity but the conviction of our demands.
Once again, we returned to take the road to re-assert our right to decent housing, our right to shelter, because the young and young people keep having the same difficulty accessing. Housing is not only a right but a vital necessity for people. These difficulties are generated by factors such as rising house prices (due to speculation that given by the builders, developers, corrupt politicians, the purchase of homes by individuals to invest and trade, ...) for the job insecurity to which we are subjected (temporary employment, low wages, ...) the current land law, capitalist society, ...
Therefore, on 24 March and joined many other citizens around the country, in Caceres returned to take to the streets to demand:
- That access to decent housing (defined as property not as a property) is a universal right, claim and equated with other fundamental rights such as education or health.
- To bet on a model urban city and public to be driven and emergence of democratic participation, active and direct participation of citizens and to close in the adoption of urban plans, designed to serve citizens and not the market, builders or owners soil.
- an end to reclassification with interest to private owners and not a social and public benefit.
- an end to the vast web of economic interests behind the construction and urban planning.
- Prioritize the use of empty homes through laws requiring all owners to have occupied the homes.
- Autonomous Laws do that when an officer protecting floor is empty, which is managing the floor repurchase and re-assign to another person or family, thus avoiding speculation at the expense of protected flats.
- Encourage public rental housing construction and public housing social and be managed publicly.
- End the silence before the claims of the residents of specific neighborhoods in our city and Mejostilla Aldea Moret.
- again require and we will not tire of repeating, to recognize our right to decent and adequate housing enshrined in Art.47 of the English Constitution.
concentration was developed in a peaceful manner at all times using our freedom of expression to our demands spontaneously (carrying the banner, launching a word that one on the megaphone, writing in the brick, ...)
But police, as well as being outstanding us from their cars and "accompanied" without losing sight of the secret camouflage lurking out there among ordinary citizens, we inspected the banners and we pulled one of them containing "Saponi Speculator", but not only conformed to this, identified one of the companions of the Assembly carried the banner at the time of the merger. We do not know the purpose of the data take, whether to file a complaint or what.
This action of the "forces of order", using their "power" as they "following orders", we see once more at our vetoing the city is still freedom of speech of the people.
